Please join us once again for our annual Batizado in Petaluma! Like previous years, you can expect many great workshops and high energy rodas with folks from across the Bay Area and beyond. Your participation would be greatly appreciated!
Instead of participating in the parade this year, we will have open roda before the parade begins.
WE WILL NOT BE IN THE PARADE.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLES. We will have water for you to fill them up with.

8:45 Discussion / Bate Papo with Mestre Pinga Fogo. It is becoming an Azânia tradition... getting deep with one special guest to learn their history, knowledge, and capoeira journey, as we prepare for a weekend of workshops, friends, community, and axé.

BBQ - Food, playing, goofing around!
All family members welcome! It’s a great time to get to know the out of town guests and let the kids run around and show off their new belts. After a weekend of so much structure, new people, and new movements, it’s a welcome day of relaxing and enjoying the capoeira community that has come to celebrate our kids.
VISITING STUDENT FEES:
*We understand that there are a lot of important events this year so we have added workshops to our event and kept prices the same to make it a value for our guests.

- Thursday Night Workshop and Talk (not included in event price) = $25
- Friday only = $30
- Saturday All Day = $65
- Saturday afternoon ONLY = $50 (12:15 on)
- Entire event = $85 (doesn't include Thursday night)
- Batizado Ceremony Viewing = Immediate Family is free. Extended family, donation of $5 to $10.
